THE FOOD PANTRY
Through experience and prayer, we are feeling called to make feeding people our main outreach ministry.

The Pantry is open to anyone in need, from 5:00 to 6:00 pm Wednesday.

For emergency food assistance, call the church office at (478) 922 - 4919.

We also stock hygiene products for those in need.

BIBLE STUDY-PRAYER WARRIORS
Prayer Warriors meet at 6:30 to pray any and all requests we get from the prayer box

at church, by e-mail or by phone, or through anyone in our community connecting with

someone who needs prayer. Our Outreach Minister Rev. Les Brown keeps us connected

to the needs of our local community. Everyone is welcome to join us for prayer. At least once a month we bring prepared hot food such as soup or chili, which Les then delivers to homeless and needy in the local area. Bible Study follows, but If you only want to stay for prayer, that is perfectly fine. We are currently working through a study of the Gospel of Mark, using a book written by Bible Scholar/Author/Musician Michael Card. Materials are provided.

COMMUNITY MEALS
WEDNESDAY DECEMBER 12-OPEN TO ALL-CHRISTMAS DINNER WITH ALL THE TRIMMINGS

BEGINNING AT 5:00 PM!

THE "HUGG" PROJECT-HELPING.UNDERSTAND.GOD'S.GRACE
A small gift of comfort for children taken into temporary custody due to trauma,

violence or domestic disputes, used by The Houston County Sheriff’s

Department, DFACS, and other similar associates.
A HUGG Kit includes:
Personal blanket
Hygiene supplies such as tooth brushes, tooth paste, combs or brushes,

socks, shampoo, deodorant, a washcloth, Kleenex and hand sanitizer.
Fun stuff could be a small book, stickers, pencils, or a coloring book
The challenge for us is that it must all fit into a one-gallon zip-lock bag. The bags have a blank label on the outside so that the officer/social worker can write child’s name on it, for their unique ownership.
